What MHAIX Is
MHAIX (Music Human Authorship Integrity Certification) is a self-attested assessment tool. You answer questions about how you created a piece of music; we calculate a score and verdict based on your answers. MHAIX does not verify your answers independently, does not access your files or accounts, and does not guarantee that any resulting certificate will be accepted by the U.S. Copyright Office, a PRO, a label, or any other third party.
Your Responsibility
You are responsible for the accuracy of everything you enter, including your legal name, citizenship, co-author information, and ownership splits. Knowingly providing false information in connection with a copyright registration may result in cancellation of that registration and potential civil or criminal liability under 17 U.S.C. §506(e). MHAIX is a documentation aid, not legal advice — we strongly recommend consulting a qualified attorney before relying on a MHAIX certificate for any legal or commercial purpose.
What We Store
If you provide an email address, we store your session data (your answers, scores, and the information you provide about yourself and any co-authors) so you can retrieve your certificate later. If you do not provide an email, your session is not saved after you close this page.
Co-Authors
If you list co-authors, you are responsible for obtaining their consent before entering their legal name, citizenship, and signature on their behalf, or for ensuring they sign personally if the product supports individual signing. Veridem Holdings Inc. is not responsible for disputes between co-authors regarding ownership splits or authorship credit.
No Warranty
MHAIX is provided "as is." We make no warranty regarding the accuracy of platform risk information (Dimension 8), which reflects publicly available information as of the date noted and may change. We are not liable for decisions made in reliance on a MHAIX score or certificate.
Changes
We may update these Terms as MHAIX evolves. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
