Veridem Holdings Inc. wants MHAIX to be usable by everyone, including people with disabilities. We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA. We have not had MHAIX independently audited, and we do not claim full conformance.
What We Tested
On September 30, 2026 we ran automated tests with axe-core 4.10.2, checking WCAG 2.0 and 2.1 Level A and AA rules, at a desktop width (1280px) and a phone width (390px), both signed out and signed in. Pages tested: the welcome page, home page and first assessment screen, Prove Authorship, Pricing, the U.S. Copyright Office registration guide, Help, Sign in, Privacy, Terms, Accessibility, Footprints (your certificates), and Inbox.
What We Found and Fixed
- Three horizontally scrolling areas (the verdict tiers on the home page, the dimensions carousel on Help, and the plan comparison table on Pricing) could not be reached with a keyboard. They can now be focused with the Tab key and scrolled with the arrow keys.
- After these fixes, the automated test reported no violations on the pages listed above.
- We confirmed by keyboard that the Terms, Privacy, and Accessibility links can be reached on every public page.
What We've Built In
- Every assessment question can be answered by voice or by typing; both score the same.
- Color is never the only signal — risk levels show both a color and a text label.
- Buttons and tap targets are sized for phones, with visible keyboard focus outlines.
- Read-aloud buttons let you hear helper text.
Known Limitations
- Automated testing finds only some accessibility problems. It does not replace testing by people who use screen readers or other assistive technology, which we have not yet done.
- Later assessment screens (after the first), the certificate preview, the downloadable PDF certificate and agency export packs, Quick Upload, and payment screens hosted by Stripe were not part of this automated test. The downloadable PDFs are not yet tagged for screen readers.
- "Reduce motion": if your device asks for reduced motion, the animations on the sign-in page stop. Other small transitions and hover effects elsewhere in the app are not yet turned off.
